No Man’s Sky released on iOS — the space sandbox can be tried for free

Even iPhone 11 owners will be able to explore distant planets.

Hello Games has released No Man’s Sky on iPhone and iPad. The space sandbox can be downloaded for free to play an introductory trial, with the full version unlocking via a single purchase — in the Russian App Store, it costs 1,790 rubles and supports the Russian language. At the same time, the game takes up only 3.8 GB.

In No Man’s Sky, players travel between star systems, land on procedurally generated planets, build bases, and assemble their own space fleet. You can focus on exploration, trading, or combat while gradually upgrading your ships, spacesuit, and equipment.

All previously released content has been ported to mobile devices, including more than 40 updates and the latest one, Forsaken. The game supports touch controls and gamepads, and a mouse and keyboard can also be used on iPad.

The developers stated that they optimized No Man’s Sky even for iPhone 11 and the third-generation iPad Air. However, there are some limitations: full multiplayer is not yet available on smartphones, and planetary settlements only work on iPhone 15 Pro and newer models.
