Eva Mendes will appear in the film “Star Wars: Starfighter”, starring Ryan Gosling. According to Caleb Williams of Knight Edge Media, the actress landed a small role as a cantina owner.
Rumors about Mendes’ involvement surfaced back in 2025 when she was spotted on set. At the time, it was assumed that the actress might have simply been visiting her spouse, but Williams now claims that she did indeed film for the movie.
For Mendes, this marks a return to live-action cinema after a lengthy hiatus. Her last feature film was the 2014 movie “Lost River”, and she last starred alongside Gosling in the crime drama “The Place Beyond the Pines”, which premiered in September 2012. Thus, by the release of “Starfighter”, nearly 15 years will have passed since their previous work together.
The premiere of “Star Wars: Starfighter” is scheduled for May 28, 2027.
