King Shark returns: James Gunn reveals release window for Creature Commandos season two

Work on the continuation is in full swing.

King Shark will become a regular member of the team in the second season of “Creature Commandos.” James Gunn shared this on the podcast The Suicide Squad: Is It Canon?, also clarifying that the new episodes will be released shortly after the premiere of “Man of Tomorrow”:

“It will come out shortly after ‘Man of Tomorrow.’ And one of the characters in ‘Creature Commandos,’ as shown at the end of last season, will be King Shark. So in season two, he will be a regular member.”

The events of the second season will take place after the events of the second season of “Peacemaker.” Nosferata, voiced by Sydney Chandler, will join the team. Khalis and the restored G.I. Robot are also expected to return, alongside The Bride and Doctor Phosphorus, who will continue to operate. In the film “The Suicide Squad,” King Shark (Nanaue) was voiced by Sylvester Stallone. Whether the actor will return to the role in the animated series is still unknown.

“Man of Tomorrow” will be released on July 9, 2027.
