Another escape for Samus Aran: Metroid Prime 2: Echoes ported to Android

The GameCube classic has received an unofficial mobile version.

A developer going by the handle Odrannnn has released Echoes Unbound, an unofficial Android port of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes—a first-person Metroidvania in which Samus explores the planet Aether, split across two dimensions.

The mobile release is based on the GameCube version. The port features touch controls with customizable button layouts, gamepad support, and gyro aiming. It also includes widescreen display support, the ability to install HD textures, save transfers from Dolphin and PrimeHack, and an option to skip cutscenes that play when transitioning between the Light and Dark worlds.

To run the game, you will need Android 9 or newer, a 64-bit ARM processor, and your own compatible game image. The North American and European GameCube releases are supported, as well as the Metroid Prime Trilogy edition for the Wii.
