During the development of this device, the creators encountered numerous difficulties. The most recent was the unsatisfactory quality of products from their recent manufacturing partner, and this is just one of the reasons the release was delayed for so long.

Now, however, Hyperkin has finally announced that the R&D (research and development) phase and community testing are complete. Mass production is already underway, and the packaging design is in its final stages. Moreover, news regarding pre-orders is promised very soon.

Along with this, company representatives shared a video showing the console in hand and demonstrating how it works with a docking station. The latter allows connecting the portable device to an HD TV and is equipped with several controller ports, allowing the Mega95 to be used as a home console.

Gamers were shown a large 5-inch screen with the ability to switch aspect ratios between 16:9 and 4:3, along with the device's ergonomics, control layout, and the docking process. The console is certainly large and will definitely not fit in a pocket.
