Modular retro console Polymega to receive adapter set for Sega cartridges

In 2027, owners of the Polymega retro console and the EM03 Mega module will be able to play classic cartridges for Game Gear, Master System, SG-1000, and other Sega consoles thanks to a new adapter set. The kit is available for pre-order right now.

Polymega, a modular retro console from Playmaji designed to run original physical discs and cartridges from vintage gaming systems, continues to improve over the years. However, it remains incredibly difficult to buy, as batches on the official website sell out almost instantly.

The developers have announced that pre-orders are now open for the new CA03 Mega Cartridge Adapter Set. This is a collection of four cartridge adapters designed to work in tandem with the EM03 Mega Element Module. The EM03 itself expands the console’s library, bringing support for games and controllers for Sega Genesis, 32X, and Sega Mega Drive.

Operating the system requires a variety of attachments and accessories—that is Polymega’s signature approach. The new adapter allows players to insert cartridges and memory cards from Game Gear, Master System, Sega Card, MARK III, SG-1000, and SC-3000 into the console. This delivers even broader compatibility across a vast lineup of consoles whose games can be authentically played on Polymega.

The EM03 module comes bundled with a Sega Genesis-styled controller, offering a modern yet nostalgic gaming experience. The CA03 Mega Cartridge Adapter Set is currently available for purchase at $99 (8,097 rubles).

Deliveries are scheduled to begin in February 2027. It is important to note that using the adapters strictly requires the EM03 Mega Element Module—which, naturally, is sold separately.
