Crossing Heroes to be released in Russia — a board card game about Greek mythological heroes

Sales of the Russian edition of the board card game Crossing Heroes will launch in 2027, where players alongside heroes of Greek myths will complete challenges, collect sets, and deal with monsters.

Publisher Crowd Games announced that it will release a Russian edition of Crossing Heroes, a board card game from Cranio Creations, Matthieu Verdier, and Johannes Goupy, known for Faraway and Pixies.

This project, reminiscent of Château Combo, will transport players back to a time when gods decided the fates of mortals and one could easily encounter a variety of monsters.

In Crossing Heroes, 2–5 players take on the roles of Greek mythical heroes to complete challenges by laying out cards in a 3×3 grid, striving to earn as many victory points as possible.

The game lasts a total of eight rounds. On their turn, a player places challenge cards around their hero and surrounds them along the perimeter with skill cards—it is the skill symbols that affect fulfilling challenge conditions in their rows and columns.

At the end of the game, players score points for completed challenges, color skills, collected sets with a special symbol, and unique items—such as those that double points for specific challenges.

Artist Lorenzo Colangeli has vividly illustrated stories of ancient Greek epics, while selective gold foil stamping on almost all components further enhances the visual impact. The board game is scheduled to go on sale in the second quarter of 2027.
