The Game Awards 2025 is over - which means it's time for the real video game awards in 2025! And you will decide who takes home the coveted title of "Game of the Year"!
We are launching the people's choice voting "YOUR GAMES 2025"! We didn't want to make our readers suffer, so we will give you the opportunity to choose from three to five favorites or outsiders — all in seven categories:
- Remakes — three nominees. When old classics get a new lease on life, and nostalgia meets modern technology. In this category, we recognize those who have approached the source material with respect, making it shine in a new way;
- Best Among the Worst — three nominees. They came out quietly, without loud advertising campaigns, and could get lost in the shadow of blockbusters. But these projects deserve your love no less. These are great games that just lacked a little attention;
- AAAA-lpha version — three nominees. Games that came out of the game forge too early. Bugs, crashes, FPS drops, and the feeling of eternal early access for the full price. Here we "honor" those who decided that optimization is for the weak;
- This is a fiasco! — three nominees. Big promises, high hopes, and... a resounding faceplant. This category includes projects that have disappointed everyone: from critics to the most dedicated fans;
- OUR Games — three nominees. Games created by our developers. They speak in a cultural code that is understandable to us, surprise with bold ideas, and prove that the Russian game dev is alive and capable of producing a quality product;
- Saviors of the INDIEstry — three nominees. Small teams with big ambitions. Games where the soul is more important than the budget, and creativity wins over marketing clichés. This is where the most daring experiments of the gaming industry are born;
- Games of the Year! — five nominees. The quintessence of gaming for the past year. Projects that set standards, give unforgettable emotions, and make us sit in front of screens for hours. The best of the best, without compromise.
Voting will last until December 29, and on the 30th we will start counting votes. At the beginning of the New Year 2026, we will show the results to everyone — in each category, the top winners will be listed by the number of your votes.
