Pale beta Diablo 4
Who stole the colors? Seriously, why does the game start in a gray-white field, and at night, and then the action unfolds in the same nondescript tundra, swamps, or mountains? Diablo 4 really lacks color. Any color.

The Taste of Good Blood. V Rising Review
A sudden Steam hit. A million copies sold in a week. A game from an independent developer in the somewhat tired genre of "survival simulator," featuring resource gathering and processing, crafting new items, building a shelter, and timid raids on bosses. Where does this sudden love come from? It's simple. You play as a vampire.

Strategy with a roadmap. Age of Empires 4 Review
Real-time strategy games used to be one of the most popular genres. They were released frequently, with a single-player campaign, advanced multiplayer, and a map editor. Right away. That was in the early 2000s. And then the genre suddenly went out of fashion, but publishers learned to release AAA products in a half-finished state with the promise to refine and fix everything. Just be patient and hope that the project doesn't die on the way to a bright future (hello, Anthem).

Seriously captivating. Loop Hero Review
The game Loop Hero from Russian developers has been released and immediately became a hit on Steam. 500,000 copies sold in a few days. Tens of thousands of people are playing it simultaneously. It would certainly have gained a much larger audience if not for... the graphics.

And this is a PS5 exclusive. Destruction AllStars Review
It's shameful. It's shameful to publish and especially to create something like this. Destruction AllStars was originally planned to be released simultaneously with the launch of PlayStation 5, and they were asking for 5500 rubles for the game. Then the plans changed, the game was postponed to February and is now being distributed for free to all subscribers of the PS Plus service. But it's not even worth spending your time on THIS.

When Games Turn Into Work
Modern games-as-a-service pressure you with their intrusiveness, like jealous women nagging you for a fleeting glance at another skirt.

"Now you can play everywhere!" - Interview regarding the release of Rime on Nintendo Switch
Nintendo's attention to independent developers contributes to the gradual consolidation of the release schedule on Switch. And the example of Tequila Works studio, which decided to release its puzzle adventure Rime on the console, is a good example of this.

"Igromir 2017" — Nintendo Strikes Back
The "Igromir" exhibition changes every year. From an event where all (or almost all) major publishers were represented, where developers willingly came and gave interviews regarding future projects, "Igromir" has turned into a near-gaming exhibition combined with a "high-tech park" and Comic Con.

[5.14] PRO Games Podcast: Was there a boy?
An episode full of nostalgia. We talk about the legendary Sonic the Hedgehog, give a brief overview of the not-so-sexy and not-so-brutal game The Sexy Brutale, as well as the bloodthirsty abilities of the Necromancer, who will soon come to the world of Diablo III. The main hero of the episode is Peter Molyneux - his belated statement about Kinect and past great works.

Battlefield 1 — Steel on Steel
This is primarily multiplayer. Magnificent, well-crafted, with a sufficient variety of modes, with remarkable "Operations", with an unobtrusive class development system. Finally, the setting of the First World War is a surefire trump card.

Diablo III 2.4 ― On the Edge
The creators of Diablo III seem to be shy about taking money for their work, they haven't heard of words like DLC and "microtransactions." They stubbornly continue to release free updates, giving fans the opportunity to stay in the game for another few dozen hours.

Judgment Day: 3.17 - Star Wars: Battlefront Problems and "Avengers: Age of Ultron"
Last week saw announcements and demonstrations of very interesting games, as well as not-so-interesting ones, but with a good pedigree.

The Banner Saga - Decisions and Consequences
This is a fascinating game-book with puzzle-battles. You turn the first page - and can't tear yourself away until the very end.

Contrast - Shards of Memories
The game will appeal to those who enjoy touching stories with unusual presentation, beautiful surreal worlds, and non-standard game mechanics. Story scenes are skillfully combined with original, albeit simple, puzzles.

Pikmin 3 - Charm itself
This game is a magical adventure in a world of giant moths and daisies, imbued with warm, sincere emotions.

Far Cry 3 (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) - The Path of a Warrior
Mountains, sky, and ocean make your head spin after cramped gray dungeons. You suspiciously take a step forward, then another, a second one - and now you're rushing towards the horizon, flashing your heels and laughing with delight.

Killzone 2 - Concrete and Flame
We played the multiplayer beta of Killzone 2. Now a demo version of the single-player campaign has appeared on PSN. Two combat scenes, a beautiful video at the end - we've seen it all more than once, since this is the level that developers like to demonstrate in presentations. In terms of visual impressions, there's nothing new. But the gameplay itself was a surprising surprise.

Facebreaker - Impressions of Peter Moore's Demo
Much knowledge brings much sorrow. We lived and didn't grieve. We knew there was such a thing as FaceBreaker and didn't blow our mustaches, looked at screenshots, smirked, shrugged - who knows who might like such boxing. And EA had to release a demo... A sleepless night - not games, no. Heavy reflections in an attempt to understand the purpose of a fighting game in which there are two strikes (upper, lower) and... that's it.
Titan Quest Review
Classic gameplay, supported by the latest trends in online role-playing games, wrapped in high-tech graphics and decorated with masterful design work.
