New Skyrim mod lets you build a career as a scribe

Skyrim is an epic adventure packed with battles and dizzying thrills. But a fan has created a mod that lets you trade your sword and shield for a quill and inkwell.

The mod titled “9 to 5 Office Job” is available for download via this link on Nexusmods. The modification allows you to take up a job as a scribe at an inn in Whiterun. The player is provided with an office-like workspace at the back of the building. You then need to memorize words that must later be transcribed into a book. There is no need to work the full eight hours, and after several rounds of the minigame, time simply fast-forwards.

After installing the mod (Skyrim: Special Edition is required), you need to speak with Olfina Gray-Mane at The Bannered Mare tavern and ask her about a job. You must make sure she does not accidentally die, otherwise the quest will become unavailable. You can work from Monday to Friday and collect your salary every Friday. Depending on your accuracy on the job, you will eventually receive a raise, followed by promotions to higher positions.
