Genshin Impact will not get a new endgame like the Spiral Abyss. Developers explained their content creation policy

There is quite a lot of content in Genshin Impact, but those who have cleared the main activities are essentially left alone with the Spiral Abyss. They will not be bored in the future, but an equivalent to the Abyss is not to be expected

Aside from collecting, daily activities, and mini-bosses, the only endgame in Genshin Impact is the Spiral Abyss. The developers invite players to fight their way through floors and chambers.

The developers of Genshin Impact discussed their content addition policy and future plans. Content similar to the Abyss is not to be expected. 

In a conversation with GameSpot journalists, they mentioned that they have no plans to add new endgame content. However, they may offer Genshin Impact players “additional mechanics”.

According to the developers, if they were to design another permanent endgame content similar to the Spiral Abyss, it could cause anxiety among the Genshin Impact community, as not everyone is interested in Cape Oath (the location used to access the Abyss).

As an example of an additional mechanic, the Genshin Impact developers mentioned a collectible card game.
