Players revolt against Rockstar over Red Dead Redemption port announcement

Users are bewildered by the company's audacity, demanding $50 for a port of a 13-year-old game without improvements

A post is rapidly gaining traction on Reddit whose author is outraged following the announcement of the original Red Dead Redemption port for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.

“They’re asking $50 for a port of a 13-year-old game. No graphical enhancements. No increased frame rate. No multiplayer.” 

Many commenters are extremely dissatisfied not only with the $50 price tag, but also with the lack of a PC version. People are urging others to simply not buy the game.

On YouTube, commenters are also expressing “special love” for Rockstar: the trailer has over 45,000 dislikes against 26,000 likes.

“You have to give Rockstar credit, as the company failed to meet even the lowest expectations.”

“Rockstar never ceases to disappoint.”
