A light novel about two white-collar workers and a manga based on Elden Ring will be released

The light novel is titled “See You At That Grace After Work” (or Shigoto ga Owareba, Ano Shukufuku de)

Kadokawa has announced its intention to release a light novel based on Elden Ring. The work is titled Shigoto ga Owareba, Ano Shukufuku de (See You At That Grace After Work) and tells the story of an office worker who passionately plays Elden Ring at home and reads game guides at work — which gets him caught by a female coworker who is also fond of Hidetaka Miyazaki's games. A spark ignites between the two Elden Ring fans, leading them to meet up more often both in the game and in real life.

The writer for “See You At That Grace After Work” is Keiichi Hikami, known for a novel series based on Monster Hunter, while the illustrations are handled by lack, who worked on designs for Fate/Grand Order and VTubers Shiranui Flare and Arurandeisu for Hololive.

“See You At That Grace After Work” will go on sale in Japan on March 29 at a price of $9.50.

On March 29, the manga Elden Ring: Become Lord will also go on sale, which will tell the story of yet another Tarnished aiming to become an Elden Lord.
