5th Column Studio has presented a gloomy action game with elements of Japanese fantasy and cosmic horror called Kaidan. The project is being developed for PC and will be available on Steam, but the release date has not yet been announced.
Kaidan plunges players into a nightmarish world where they must fight for survival. Players will take on the role of a Seeker who has made a deal with a mysterious Emissary for a second chance at life. The Seeker must return to the once peaceful land of Ikaiguchi, now distorted by sinister forces, to fight the mysterious Chordbearers. The game promises intense battles with terrifying yokai and powerful bosses lurking in desecrated temples, abandoned villages, and mystical worlds where the boundaries between realities become thin.
