Although there was much criticism online earlier regarding the quality of Elden Ring on Switch 2, the fresh gameplay demonstration looks better than expected. Several scenes from the game are shown, and many noted the visuals and smoothness, which are above initial expectations.
The different assessments are explained by the fact that Elden Ring on Switch 2 works in two modes. In portable mode, there are serious stability issues, whereas when connected to a TV, the game runs significantly better and is closer to the experience on more powerful platforms.
But for complete success on the Nintendo console, developers will have to improve the portable version. Mobility is the main advantage of the Switch, and players expect to be able to enjoy a full-fledged adventure even on the go.
