How does Switch 2 handle Elden Ring? New footage shows the real quality
The first gameplay of Elden Ring on Nintendo Switch 2 has appeared online, and it doesn't foreshadow a global catastrophe. But where do the problems arise?
Although much criticism of the quality of Elden Ring on Switch 2 appeared online earlier, the fresh gameplay demonstration looks better than expected. Several scenes from the game are shown, and many noted the visual component and smoothness of operation, which is higher than initial expectations.
The different assessments are explained by the fact that Elden Ring on Switch 2 works in two modes. In portable mode, there are serious stability problems, while when connected to a TV, the game runs much better and is closer to the experience on more powerful platforms.
But for complete success on the Nintendo console, developers will have to improve the portable version. Mobility is the main advantage of Switch, and players expect that even on the road they will be able to enjoy a full-fledged adventure.
