Not everyone plays the hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov fairly. The developers continue to purge the game of cheaters.
The creators of Escape from Tarkov continue to fight against those who like to use cheats. They recently announced another round of bans.
Battlestate Games stated that since August 8, 2025, more than 2,700 cheaters have been banned in Escape from Tarkov.
The developers have published a traditional wall of shame, which lists the nicknames of the caught offending players.
However, cheaters are not the only problem in Escape from Tarkov: commentators complain about other technical issues, such as "error 228" (although the developers released a patch designed to fix it).
