Fans of the \"Lord of the Rings\" universe never cease to amaze. Less than an hour after pre-orders opened, they had already purchased all copies of the extremely expensive \"Fellowship of the Ring\" statue diorama from Weta Workshop.
Today, Weta Workshop opened pre-orders for a new 1/6 scale \"Fellowship of the Ring\" statue diorama dedicated to the \"Lord of the Rings\" film trilogy.
Although some people thought that the price of $4999 (approximately 403,000 rubles) would scare away buyers, all 389 copies were snapped up by wealthy collectors in less than an hour.
This sculpture, depicting Gandalf, Frodo, Merry, Pippin, Gimli, Boromir, Sam, Aragorn, and Gollum in a dynamic setting, captures the moment when the Fellowship ascends the ruined staircase deep within the halls of Moria.
The model, made of polystone, is 110 cm high, 57 cm wide, 50 cm deep, and weighs 27 kg. Its release is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
This statue is the result of the combined efforts of many masters, including 12 sculptors, 16 technicians, nine artists, two concept artists, two art directors, one Tolkien scholar, and over 7,000 hours of work.
