Sega has opened access to the open network test for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Players have the opportunity to try out the new arcade racing game before its release.
The test began on August 29 and will end on September 2. Owners of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, as well as users of Steam and Epic Games Store can participate.
The main goal of the test is to check the stability of network functions and identify errors before release. Development is ongoing, so participants should be prepared for crashes and other technical issues.
To connect, simply download the test version in the digital store of your platform and enter the game after the servers start. Progress will not be saved, but rewards are given for participation: two unique stickers and the title "Open Network Test Racer" in the full version when using the same account.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds stands out with crossplay, squad system and events. Players have a few days to try out the races and help Sega prepare the game for release.
