The updates will affect both gameplay and key modes on all platforms: PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The main innovation is a complete redesign of the City, which will become the central hub for players. The City will run more stably than in NBA 2K25, providing 60 fps on new consoles and noticeably improved graphics. Important zones—the Event Center, Arena, and Gatorade Training Facility—are now located closer to each other. Proving Grounds and The Theater will appear on the outskirts. Park will also return, but in an updated form, with seasonal environmental changes.
Players can also look forward to:
- a new myCareer story campaign, «Out of Bounds»;
- expanded Streetball with Street Kings mode;
- the Pro-Am Summit event;
- extended MyCourt customization;
- additional activities, including Pocket Bikes and Drift Trikes races.
Every six weeks, the Park will change its design, and in the first season, the courts will be styled after urban street tournaments. Judging by 2K's materials, the series is preparing a new level of basketball experience for fans.
