Actor Ewan McGregor, who played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the \"Star Wars\" saga, has expressed his desire to see a continuation of the series \"Andor\" and participate in its third season.
During a performance at Fan Expo Canada, McGregor said that he recently watched \"Andor\" for the first time with his son and was impressed. According to the actor, he understood why the series received such high marks from critics and viewers.
"I thought: this is about the same time frame. Maybe I could appear in the third season?" he noted, implying the possibility of crossing over with the events of \"Obi-Wan Kenobi.\"
However, showrunner Tony Gilroy previously stated that \"Andor\" was originally conceived as a two-season project, bringing the story to the events of the film \"Rogue One.\"
Despite this, McGregor jokingly appealed to Disney to consider the idea of continuing the series and the appearance of Obi-Wan in new episodes. "Maybe if there is a story that intersects with me, I can somehow squeeze in. There is always a chance that Disney will listen," the actor said.
