Another project has joined the extensive list of games with premium early access, the protection of which hackers coped with before the full release.
The release of Hell is Us is expected on September 4, and for now, those who pre-ordered the special edition are playing.
The DRM-system Denuvo was not used to protect the game, so shortly after the start of paid early access, hackers cracked Hell is Us.
Some members of the gaming community, like BrazenSting, are considering financially supporting the developers — due to the fact that Hell is Us is very compact (in terms of the size of game files):
«A relatively popular game in 2025 weighs only 20 GB. Perhaps this is the dumbest reason to buy a game to support the developers, but part of me wants to take it just because of that».
