After announcing the third season in 2022, the creators of One-Punch Man were reluctant to share details. Now it has become known that Saitama will return to screens in October — six and a half years after the release of the second season.
After many years of silence, the third season of the anime "One-Punch Man" has reminded of itself: a promo video, fresh key art and a release date have been announced. The image shows heroes and villains facing each other, and the teaser features a new opening song Get No Satisfied! performed by JAM Project with the participation of BABYMETAL.
The director of the new season is Shinpei Nagai, who previously worked as an assistant on Fantasia Sango — Realm of Legends. The production is again handled by J.C. Staff studio, which was responsible for the second season. Familiar specialists returned to the team: screenwriter Tomohiro Suzuki, composer Makoto Miyazaki and character designer Chikashi Kubota.
The teaser also confirmed the voice actor cast: Makoto Furukawa will once again voice Saitama, and Hikaru Midorikawa and Daisuke Namikawa will play Garou and Dr. Genus.
The premiere of the third season of "One-Punch Man" will take place on October 5 at 23:45 Japanese time (17:45 Moscow time).
