Recently, the developers of MindsEye returned with a major Update 4. It was originally planned to be released in August, but the release was delayed.
This update is aimed at addressing a number of technical issues, as well as including improvements to the user interface and game performance.
It is noted that a number of improvements have been made to the architecture and assets to improve memory, CPU and GPU performance. A cutscene skip function has appeared, and now tanker trailers in free mode explode when shot. Improvements also concern shaders and collisions.
The authors of MindsEye stated that the next Update 5 is in the works and promise "significant improvements in performance, combat system and artificial intelligence of opponents."
