Recently, the developers of MindsEye returned with a major Update 4. It was originally planned to be released in August, but the release was delayed.
This update is aimed at addressing a number of technical issues, as well as including improvements to the user interface and game performance.
It is noted that a number of improvements have been made to the architecture and assets to improve memory, CPU and GPU performance. A cutscene skip function has appeared, and now tanker trailers in free mode explode when shot at. Improvements also concern shaders and collisions.
The authors of MindsEye stated that the next Update 5 is in the works and promise "significant improvements in performance, combat system and artificial intelligence of opponents."
