Not everyone appreciated Team Cherry's vision and decided to make adjustments to the balance.
Modders started working on Hollow Knight Silksong shortly after its release. Various projects began appearing on Nexus Mods.
Many mods are dedicated to "adjusting" the balance: enthusiasts offer various ways to simplify the game (or make it more convenient):
- Always On Compass plus Magnet — the compass will always be active, even if not equipped
- A series of resource multiplier mods: Double Silk / Rosaries / Shards
- Increase Player Damage — damage multiplier
- QuickWarp — a function for quickly saving and loading the character's position; helps to save before a boss and not waste time on the repeated path to it in case of death
- Simple Rosary Cheat — allows you to get a thousand "rosaries" by pressing the F3 key
- Cheat Pack 4 — a set of cheats that will allow you to not lose health and resources will not be spent when used
There is also HDR Mod — for HDR support, and a cosmetic mod Clownhornet, adding the famous "clown wig" in the community (the mod is presented on thunderstore).
