Earlier, the creator of the Cyberpunk universe, Mike Pondsmith, shared that the sequel, known as Project Orion, will feature a new city described as "Chicago that went down the wrong path". Pondsmith also noted that he is advising the developers, reviewing scripts and evaluating new elements, such as cybernetic implants.
