Overhype Studios, previously noted for Battle Brothers, has reminded us of their new project — the turn-based tactical role-playing game Meance.
The team is actively preparing for the launch of the Menace demo: fixing bugs, adjusting difficulty, adding missing elements, and conducting tests:
«To publish the demo, we need to prepare a Steam build that can be downloaded and updated. In addition, the entire project had to be migrated to Unity 6, which also required considerable resources»
The game takes place in the distant Outlands system, where «lawlessness reigns and pirate captains, dubious corporations, and disunited planetary governments rule». Initially, the player commands a squad of marines who have arrived to restore order, but soon they will have to unite disparate groups of local fighters against an unknown enemy.
