The developers of the real-time strategy game Tempest Rising have announced an upcoming update.
It will include:
- Support for multiplayer battles in a "3 on 3" format, i.e., up to six players can fight simultaneously. This will work in both custom and skirmish modes.
- Implementation of a full-fledged "spectator mode."
- An option to adjust the game speed and "active pause" (for single-player mode).
- A new map based on Kyoto (for 4 and 6 players), as well as two re-profiled maps for the "3 on 3" format.
- The request has been heard: in skirmish, you can play without bots and experiment with units without pressure from enemies.
This update for Tempest Rising is scheduled for release on September 9th, and a detailed description will be published on that day.
