The story of "Assassination Classroom" is not over. The anniversary film will continue the plot and adapt what was not included in the anime.
The anime based on the manga "Assassination Classroom" will receive a full-length sequel. The film, subtitled Minna no Jikan ("Everyone's Time"), will be released in Japanese cinemas on March 20, 2026. This was announced in the 41st issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine, where Yusei Matsui's original manga was published.
The project is timed to coincide with the tenth anniversary of the first season and will be the final part of the anniversary program, which included a re-broadcast of the anime and the All Night Nippon GOLD radio show.
The new film will cover storylines that were not included in the anime due to time constraints. Matsui himself emphasizes that this is not just a nostalgic project, but a real continuation of the story. Fans are promised a full-fledged plot and the return of the entire main team.
Masaki Kitamura, who previously worked on "Mobile Suit Gundam 00", is the director, and Makoto Uezu, the author of the screenplay for the anime "Assassination Classroom", is writing the script. Ae Higami is in charge of character design, and Studio Lerche is once again responsible for production.
It is not yet known whether the film will be shown in Russian cinemas.
