A-1 Pictures may reveal new information about the anime's continuation as early as September 13.
The Aniplex Online Fest 2025, scheduled for September 13, could be a key event for Solo Leveling fans. Amid the silence surrounding the third season, this event is seen as a likely venue for the long-awaited announcement.
Although A-1 Pictures and Aniplex remain silent, the studio's participation in the festival fuels interest: fans are hoping for at least a symbolic teaser. In past years, Aniplex Fest has been the venue for important announcements about the company's key projects - and Solo Leveling is definitely one of them.
After the premiere of the first season in 2024, the series became an international hit, and the second season, released in January 2025, only strengthened its status. However, more than six months have passed since the finale, and no new details about the show's future have emerged.
Nevertheless, producer Atsushi Kaneko previously hinted that they have ideas for a sequel. In an interview with ScreenRant, henoted that in the potential third season, the authors want to shift the focus from Jin-Woo's growth in strength to the consequences of this growth:"He will become the strongest, but he will lose something in the process. He will be incomplete. We want to show this conflict."
As for the timing, estimates vary. The range is between 2026 and 2028, but the most likely scenario is 2027 - provided that A-1 Pictures maintains high quality and does not rush production.
