The game, which became a hit on PC, may soon be released on Microsoft consoles and immediately appear on Xbox Game Pass.
Supermarket Simulator on Steam has collected almost 30,000 reviews with "very positive" ratings. In February, the developers confirmed that the game would be released on PlayStation and Xbox, but the exact release date is unknown.
The scandal was caused by a Microsoft error. Many console owners received a notification about the availability of Supermarket Simulator in Xbox Game Pass, although the game has not yet been released. It is difficult to call this an accident, given the prepared advertising materials indicating the service.
In the game, players become store owners. You need to: monitor stocks on the shelves, set prices, serve customers at the checkout, hire employees, fight thieves, design the store layout, purchase goods in local markets, fulfill online orders.
