Contrary to numerous leaks, NVIDIA does not appear to be planning to release an updated RTX 50 SUPER line in the holiday season at the end of 2025.
NVIDIA is not going to release the GeForce RTX 50 SUPER series of video cards before the end of this year. Despite the active spread of rumors, including about the release in the third quarter (which ends in September) or in the fourth — closer to the holiday season, the company has not yet approved either the announcement date or the delivery dates.
Well-known insider Hongxing2020 stated that RTX 50 Super is being "delayed," but this is formally incorrect. NVIDIA has not postponed the launch of RTX 50 SUPER, since it did not initially plan to release this line in 2025, and previous "leaks" from insiders were apparently incorrect.
According to Videocardz, NVIDIA and its partners continue to work within the current RTX 50 cycle, and there are no signs of preparations for the launch of new models. Production plans remain the same, and deliveries of current cards are only gaining momentum.
Most likely, updated models will appear closer to CES 2026 — as part of a typical intermediate update that the company regularly conducts in the middle of the life cycle.
