Comedian Conan O'Brien was genuinely surprised by what happened.
2K and Gearbox asked comedian Conan O'Brien to play Borderlands 4 a bit as part of a promotional campaign for the shooter, but the game crashed. Judging by the error message, this wasn't the first crash.
The Cueless Gamer episode, published on the Team Coco YouTube channel, lasts about eight minutes and shows O'Brien, who isn't very experienced in video games, trying to master Borderlands 4. The comedian jokes about Claptrap and even tries to figure out the mechanics of the shooter, but in the middle of the session, when show co-creator Aaron Bleyaert gave instructions to press the LB button on the controller, the game suddenly crashed. Bleyaert, confused, stated that this had never happened before, but the notification "the game has crashed more than once recently" suggested otherwise.
