Falcom will release the fighting crossover between the Ys and Trails in the Sky franchises on October 10 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
Along with the release date, the developers presented a new trailer showing cutscenes, localization elements, and the combat system. Players can expect dynamic action featuring heroes from both series — Adol Christin, Estelle Bright, Joshua, Cloe, Renne, and others. The video also features mascots asking the characters to save their world.
There are over 20 fighters and 26 arenas to choose from, including familiar locations such as Ice Ridge of Noltia, Haken Gate, and Falcom Dev Room. In addition to classic PvP, the game will offer a story mode, arcade, free battles, and online matches.
Local and online multiplayer, voice acting in English and Japanese, resolution up to 4K, and a frame rate of 60 frames per second are supported. The PC version will also get mouse, keyboard, and ultrawide monitor support.
The game will come with an in-game collection of materials — artwork, soundtracks, and other elements from Falcom's history.
