Clouded Leopard Entertainment plans to release the prison RPG Back to the Dawn worldwide on PlayStation 5, Switch, and Switch 2 in 2026.
Back to the Dawn is a role-playing game set in a maximum-security prison. The main characters are anthropomorphic animals who find themselves behind bars for various reasons. The player must survive in an aggressive environment, make connections, do dirty work, and ultimately try to escape.
Two characters are available to choose from: Thomas, a journalist framed for a report against the mayor, and Bob, a panther agent working undercover. Each awaits 20+ hours of story, a developed role-playing system, dozens of quests, and unique endings. The developers promise that every decision will have consequences.
With the release on PS5 and Switch, the project will receive updated localization in all supported languages, as well as voice acting in Japanese and Chinese. It is unclear whether an official Russian language is planned to be added - currently the game does not support it, but fan translations are available.
