Among Us has received a fresh update with a Genshin Impact crossover and two new roles with unique abilities.
Studio Innersloth has released update v17.0.0 for Among Us. Two new roles have been added to the game, and an unexpected crossover with Genshin Impact has been launched. Among the main innovations are the Detective class for peaceful players, Viper for impostors, and a cosmetic set with Paimon, the mascot of the popular anime RPG from HoYoverse.
Detective is the first role in Among Us history for crew members with two active abilities. The "Notes" function allows you to record the circumstances of the murder, mark suspects, and even determine the type of impostor operating on the ship.
The second ability, "Interrogate," allows you to directly ask other players questions about their movements. At the same time, you can only investigate one case at a time; if there are multiple murders, you will have to choose a priority.
A new role has appeared among the impostors: Viper. Like other traitors, he eliminates targets, but has the unique ability to dissolve bodies with poison.
Among Us remains available on all current platforms, including mobile devices.
