Epic Games continues its weekly giveaways — now on smartphones as well.
The Epic Games Store continues to actively promote its mobile division. This week, users can grab two projects for free: the artistic puzzle game Monument Valley II and the turn-based strategy game The Battle of Polytopia. The promotion lasts until 18:00 (Moscow time) on September 18.
Monument Valley II is a sequel to one of the most famous mobile puzzle games. The sequel retains the aesthetics and mechanics of the original, but offers a new emotional story about a mother and child. Players must rotate and transform architectural structures to guide the heroes through meditative levels designed in the spirit of Escher's engravings. The project features a minimalist visual style and atmospheric soundtrack.
The second free project is the turn-based strategy game The Battle of Polytopia from Midjiwan studio. It has gained popularity among fans of mobile 4X games due to its simple controls, laconic visual style, and tactical diversity. Players choose one of 16 tribes — each with its own bonuses and features — and fight for control of the map, following the classic "explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate" formula.
