Shortly after the release of Borderlands 4, a stream of similar complaints began. Gamers were concerned not about some creative decisions by Gearbox, but about technical aspects — optimization and bugs.
It got to the point that the studio presented a special guide on setting up the game for different PCs. However, they didn't stop there and recently prepared a small patch:
«Our team is thrilled to see you shooting and looting your way through Kairos.
Today, we're releasing a new update that will help improve stability across a wide range of PCs.
Please note that each time you change your graphics settings, your shaders will need to be recompiled; this process may take up to 15 minutes to complete».
Some who have played Borderlands 4 claim that the game now crashes more often, and there are also problems with ultra-wide resolution — the settings have been reset and now you can't select the previous option (other community members suggest checking the "Control Panel", there may have been a failure in the PC settings).
