Earlier, reports surfaced online that NVIDIA had stopped producing the Founders Edition amid preparations for the release of the RTX 50 SUPER.
NVIDIA has officially commented on rumors about the alleged discontinuation of GeForce RTX 50 Founders Edition video cards. In a comment to Wccftech, a company representative stated that all FE series models continue to be produced and will return to the website as soon as they are available.
The rumors began to spread amid the disappearance of some RTX 50 Founders Edition models from the NVIDIA online store. Some users took this as preparation for the imminent launch of the RTX 50 SUPER line and, as a result, the withdrawal of current cards from the market. However, as NVIDIA emphasized, this is only a temporary absence due to the limited nature of FE variants: such cards are often sold out and return to sale as new batches arrive.
At the time of publication, not all cards in the line are available in the NVIDIA online store: RTX 5090 and 5080 FE are temporarily unavailable, while RTX 5070 FE remains on sale at the suggested retail price of $549. Variants of RTX 5070 Ti, 5060 and other junior models were not produced in the Founders Edition format.
