It seems the writers of Netflix's "The Witcher" will continue to freely handle the canon to give viewers another spicy scene with Yennefer.
In the fourth season of Netflix's "The Witcher", Geralt and Yennefer will be together again. Moreover, this will happen long before the finale. According to "Redanian Intelligence", Anya Chalotra's character will teleport to Geralt and his companions to visit them and meet the witcher in person. Their communication will end with a passionate night, after which Yennefer will return to her affairs.
This moment contradicts the plot of the original novels, where after the events on Thanedd, Geralt did not know if Yennefer was alive, and was convinced that she had betrayed him and Ciri. Their reunion only happens closer to the end of the saga.
Such a move by the writers may again cause a negative reaction from fans, and also potentially crosses out another storyline — Geralt's affair with Fringilla Vigo in Toussaint, which in the books served as a temporary replacement for his relationship with Yennefer.
The fourth season of "The Witcher" will be released on Netflix on October 30.
