Too narrow a field of view has become one of the many reasons for criticism from Borderlands 4 players.
Borderlands 4 was released on September 12 and, despite record online numbers for the series, received a lot of criticism for technical problems on all platforms.
One of the key complaints from console players was the too narrow field of view — while the game lacks the ability to adjust it manually.
Gearbox responded to the comments: the official Borderlands account on X/Twitter posted that the team is "exploring" the possibility of adding a field of view setting on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The timing of the feature implementation has not yet been announced, but the developers promised to take into account player feedback in order to prioritize when working on updates.
