In the new season of Path of Exile 2, the developers introduced sprint. Players appreciated the ability to run, but a problem arose — sprint is activated by holding down the roll key, and sometimes it was activated accidentally.
If you get hit during a sprint, the character "falls" and will be vulnerable. Grinding Gear Games responded to community feedback and made changes to the mechanics, adding protection against strong stuns during accidental sprint activation:
«Now, at the beginning of a sprint, there is a short period during which getting hit will not cause a strong stun. It is equal to the minimum sprint duration, so now you will never be stunned during an accidental sprint. The minimum sprint duration has been slightly increased to support this change.»
They also made a number of fixes and balance adjustments, for example, "properties from support gems Ammo Preservation and passive skill trees that grant a chance not to expend crossbow ammo are now calculated based on ammo spent, rather than once per skill use. This means they correctly interact with the Barrage skill. Wording has been updated accordingly."
