AMD is promoting the Ryzen 9000X3D line, claiming that its top processors, paired with powerful video cards, are capable of delivering over 1000 frames per second in popular esports games at 1080p. This refers to the Ryzen 9 9950X3D and Ryzen 7 9800X3D models.
At a press event in China, the company noted that this result is achieved in Counter-Strike 2, Valorant, League of Legends, PUBG, and Naraka: Bladepoint. Similar performance is achieved by the mobile Ryzen 9 9955HX3D, installed in gaming laptops like the MSI Raider A18 HX A9W.
AMD clarified that exceeding 1000 fps will require Windows 11 version 24H2, disabled VBS and SAM, as well as flagship video cards — Radeon RX 9070 XT, GeForce RTX 5080, or RTX 5090/D.
Meanwhile, Chinese company Antgamer has unveiled a 1000 Hz monitor, slated for release in 2026. TCL also showcased a 4K 1000 Hz display, requiring future solutions like the RTX 6090 or Radeon RX with RDNA 5 architecture.
