Soon, an EFT-like game will be able to compete with the original on Steam.
Soon, Escape from Tarkov will arrive on Steam, but for now, Valve's service has been supplemented by another competing game.
The authors of the extraction-shooter Arena Breakout Infinite have announced its launch on Steam. The developers offer several maps with unique features — "Farm", "Valley", "Northridge", "Arsenal", and "TV Station".
The rules are familiar, players go on a raid for loot and risk losing equipment:
"...be careful: nature has its own rules, and the fickle weather of the Dark Zone can disrupt even the most well-thought-out evacuation. Outsmart and defeat enemies, and then evacuate — or lose everything."
The authors will provide compensation if a cheater kills a player:
"In the past year alone, our anti-cheat system has banned over 123,000 players for 10 years and paid out over 400 billion Koens in compensation to 637,503 players."
There is a nuance: Arena Breakout Infinite is not available on the Russian Steam.
