The new installment in the franchise evokes a variety of emotions.
After the release of Borderlands 4, developers began to be actively criticized online. Users have many complaints about the technical state of the looter-shooter, as well as the communication style of the Gearbox boss.
However, Randy Pitchford has a special opinion about such hatred — it does not bother him, he does not allow negative feedback to interfere with his creativity.
In his opinion, hatred is a form of passion, and that, as a rule, if someone hates, it means that to some extent they care:
"... I think we just shouldn't worry about hatred. It's actually another form of love. If someone comments, it means they are interested, they care. They spent their time because publishing takes time. It takes time to interrupt and do something. So I use it as fuel. Let's create more. And we should all do the same."
