The developers have announced that the game will be released on October 9, 2025, for PC and Nintendo Switch. It is a spin-off of the bar dating sim Bunny Garden, which topped Japanese sales charts in 2024, and fully inherits the original's comical style.
Merry Bunny Garden is a 3D action game with "drunk" walking mechanics, where the player escorts girls home after a night of excessive alcohol consumption. The three heroines are Kana, Rin, and Miuka from the original game. They are so drunk that they cannot walk straight, and the player must ensure they don't fall down the stairs, get hit by a car, or collide with obstacles. Additional dangers include torn clothing, getting stuck in trash cans, and falling into manholes.
The developers have once again placed a huge emphasis on panties. In the original Bunny Garden, the PTA system ("pantsu takusan arigato" - thank you for many panties) allowed players to peek at the heroines' underwear when purchasing expensive alcohol in the game.
Merry Bunny Garden introduces a new PTA system ("pantsu takusan atsumeyo" - let's collect many panties). Now, panties are a collectible item scattered throughout the city, with a total of 108 types. All collected panties can be tried on in the game.
