BoomBit studio has released The Kingdom: Medieval Tales on mobile devices — a simulator that combines elements of city-building, RPG, and social drama.
The player has to take control of a small medieval settlement and turn it into a thriving kingdom. At the same time, the emphasis is not only on construction: the residents themselves play a key role. Each character has their own history, profession, character, and relationships with others. Settlers make friends, fall in love, conflict, and start families, and the player can observe their lives and intervene if necessary.
The gameplay includes mechanics familiar to the genre: building houses, farms, workshops, and other structures. The economy is based on a balance between agriculture, crafts, and trade.
A defensive system is also provided: you need to prepare defenders and send them to fight enemies or on expeditions for resources and knowledge.
The game is distributed under a free-to-play model with microtransactions, supports the Russian language, and is already available on the App Store and Google Play.
