Feral Interactive continues to develop the mobile version of the cult classic Total War: Empire and has released the first exclusive expansion for iOS and Android.
A New World, the first exclusive expansion for the mobile version of Total War: Empire, has been released.
The main innovation is the expansion of the list of playable countries from 11 to 55. Now all 44 non-rebellious factions from the main campaign are available, as well as a new campaign, "Late Start", which takes place in 1783, on the eve of revolutions and the decline of colonial empires.
The expansion also includes the "Warpath Campaign". In it, players can play as one of the five indigenous nations of North America: the Iroquois, Cherokee, Huron, Pueblo, or Plains tribes. Previously, this scenario was only available on PC in DLC format.
The naval part of the game has been significantly expanded: 14 new ships have been added, including maneuverable galleys, daos, and the Spanish flagship "Santísima Trinidad" with 140 guns, one of the largest battleships of the 18th century.
Simultaneously with the release of A New World, the game received balance updates. New and small factions have been reworked to be competitive, and a "To the Wall" feature has been introduced, allowing infantry to take cover behind low barricades. The cheat console has also been improved, the loading time for naval battles has been reduced, and Calico achievement support has been added.
The expansion is available via in-app purchase for $7 (or regional equivalent). It does not change the basic balance of the old factions and fits seamlessly into the campaign.
