Digimon is preparing for a double comeback. In early October, the role-playing game Digimon Story: Time Stranger will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and a new anime series will premiere.
The anime Digimon Beatbreak has received a new trailer ahead of its premiere on October 5. The video features the opening theme Mad Pulse performed by the band MADKID, and also presents scenes with key characters — both humans and Digimon.
The series takes place in a world where humanity has learned to use e-Pulse — a stream generated by human emotions — as an energy source for artificial intelligence devices known as "Sapotama." However, along with technological progress, Digimon begin to appear — creatures capable of evolving under the influence of electrical impulses.
The main character — a teenager named Tomoro Tenma — encounters a mysterious Gekkomon that appears from his Sapotama. This event involves him in a new conflict and leads him to a team of Digimon hunters called "Shining Dawn."

In parallel, Digimon Story: Time Stranger is being prepared for release — the first full-fledged role-playing game in the Digimon universe in recent years. Its release is scheduled for October 3. Thus, the franchise returns in two formats at once — animated and gaming, although the projects are not related in terms of plot.
