The "Swords and Flames" expansion has reached the Russian version of the "War of the Ring" card board game, so it's time to evaluate new factions and scenarios, visit skirmish locations, and try out new modes.
GaGa Games Publishing House has announced the release of the "Swords and Flames" expansion for the "War of the Ring" card board game. Until October 5th, it can be purchased for 1990 rubles.
Currently, as a bonus, you can get two promo cards – "Old Willow" and "Goldberry" (subsequent print runs will not include them).
The expansion adds three new factions to the game – Northmen (free peoples), Easterlings, and Outlaws (Darkness), new battlefields, paths, and another type of location – skirmish locations. These are small settlements or fortifications, the capture or defense of which will bring bonuses.
New scenarios allow you to play with a company of up to six people, and also open up unique strategic modes for a smaller number of participants – for example, for two gamers.
In addition, the box includes cards for single-player and cooperative modes with the "Against the Darkness" expansion.
